At 8 years old, Eli did his first scuba discovery dive and became instantly hooked. He spent many of his summer breaks diving with his dad in the cold quarries of Virginia and at the springs in North Florida. His cave diving journey started in 2018, and in 2020 he started an internship at Dive Rite in engineering. A year later, he moved to Florida full-time to pursue his passion in cave diving and work for Dive Rite. His favorite cave is Madison Blue Springs, where he has been able to survey and explore new passages with Karst Underwater Research.
