The Low-Profile Unbalanced Relief Valve was designed from the ground up to be one of the thinnest relief valves on the market. Its compact and streamlined shape makes it more comfortable, lightweight, and less prone to snagging on guidelines or other environmental hazards. A relief valve is an essential accessory for any drysuit diver, especially on longer dives. Without a relief valve, divers tend to intentionally dehydrate themselves to avoid the “urge” during a dive with an extended bottom time. Hydration is a critical factor in preventing decompression sickness. When you use our relief valves, proper hydration is no longer a concern.
