Peacock: DECO cookie and Guinness
With over 32000 of passage Peacock is a cave that you will never get bored of, and because the majority of it is shallow, you can enjoy long dives with limited deco. Alcohol isn’t allowed in the state park, so head to Dive Outpost for a Guinness around the fire. The malty sweetness and notes of chocolate and coffee in a tall glass of Guinness go perfect with one of their signature DECO cookies.
Eagle’s Nest
The Nest. Due to its depth and massive size and impressive depth, Eagle’s Nest is seen by many as “The Everest” of cave diving. After an epic dive like the nest, you need an epic beer: a Big Nose IPA. The intense hop flavor of this IPA will make you reminisce algae floating by as you daydreamed in the basin during hours of deco. At 7.3% ABV its sure to help with off gassing*.

Royal: Nady Light
When you don’t want to enjoy your dive, and you don’t want to enjoy your beer nothing beats Royal and and a 48 rack of Nady Light. If you really want to crank up the trash factor pull out your air mattress and float around the basin while you slam some brews.
Riu Uluapan
Its 4am deep in the heart of the Sierra Mazalteca and you’ve just finished an 18 hour slog through the steamy Jungle with a 4 hour exploration dive sandwiched in the middle. You are exhausted and sore, and your only motivation to continue walking is knowing that you will be devoured by sand flies if you stop. When you arrive home, the only suitable beer is a Victoria. Served warm, because there isn’t a refrigerator for miles the bitterness overpowers the notes of orange, honey, apple butter and star fruit that you’d expect; But you don’t care. Throwing back a liter or two with a side of the local mescal that explorers crave is sure to numb the pain of a hard day’s work at the Uluapan.
In the end, as long as you enjoy your dive and enjoy your beer, it’s a good pair; is about maintaining the lifestyle.
