GX40 Primary Canister Light

The Dive Rite GX40 Canister Light borrows the powerful and compact light head of the FX40 Handheld Primary Light and marries it to an all-new latchless battery canister. The GX40 delivers the same impressive 2400 lumen output and tightly focused 4 degree beam pattern as the FX40, but with up to 3X the burn time of the handheld light.  The small form factor light head practically disappears on the back of your hand when in use. The low-profile, head mounted piezo button ensures smooth operation with no moving parts. Built from CNC-machined acetal and aluminum with a hard type III anodized finish, the GX40 boasts a depth rating of 500 feet (152 meters).

The streamlined latchless canister incorporates a bayonet-style locking ring system. To disengage the lid for charging, simply depress the locking pin, rotate the ring 30 degrees, and then pull the lid straight off. The GX40 is offered with two different battery canister sizes and each is available with either a straight or 70 degree angled cord lid. The light includes a soft elastic handmount plate with QRM mounting system, battery charger, and a padded carrying bag. Made in the USA.
